    Samsung Note 8

    Hi.

I have been waiting for the Note 8 to come out, and it seems like it's taken FOREVER. I have a S5, upgraded to the Note 7, and had to return my IED, and have been dealing with a dying phone (my S5) patiently waiting. I just wanted to see if I was the only one here, or there are others that are willing to bet it's gonna be a good one. Please, save yourselves the trouble of trying to convince me to switch to Apple or whatever.

I loved my note 7, I did not have any issue with mine and the phone was beautiful. I was forced to switch to an S8 because i traded in our note 4. The s8 is good, bit its no note 7. I cannot wait for the note 8 to come out.

I hope Samsung does something for those of us who had to sign into a contract for a downgraded phone because we could not retrieve old phone that was traded in.

I've never traded in a phone for a new one simply because I like to keep a Plan B around. My 1.5 and 4 year olds like to play with the cameras of the old phones too, so they've got something they can throw around without us worrying about. Sorry to hear, I hope they do offer something, but from what I've read, they are in the works for those that had to return a Note 7 in general.

I'm still using my Note 8.0 that I bought in 2013. It actually still works great, but I would like it to be a bit faster. I was hoping they would finally come out with a newer version, but it looks like the new Note 8 will still have the smaller screen like the other, more recent Note models. I do have an S7 from work, but I have to admit, I have become more of an iPhone fan over the last few years. I'd probably like the S7 more if it didn't have all the extra Verizon crap on it.

I lost my EDC phone a couple months ago. My plan was to use my old S4 till the new Note came out but I couldnt do it. I ended up buying a S8 last month but the Note 8 is still on my mind.

I'm in the same boat. Got a nice refund and a S7 edge on discount... honestly cannot wait for the Note 8, i use that pen almost all day long, feel so naked without it, so naked i went and bought a Surface 4.

I settled on a S8+ when the Note 7 had the recall. If you are coming from a S5 then a Note 8 would be a compelling upgrade.

My problem is I don't think it will be a compelling enough upgrade to give up my S8+. I love the Notes - I've had the Note2, 3, 4 and 5. I hated the 5 for not having removable battery or storage and dumped it for a S7 Edge which had removable storage. I still have the Note 3 and 4 and my kids use them every day.

My wife currently has the Note 5, and is running into storage problems as well. It looks like her and I are both waiting for the Note 8 now. ahahha
