On/off timer switch with 30 days cycle?

I'm looking for something that will automatically power cycle home networking electronics once every 30 days. All the programmable timers I've found on Amazon.com has 7 days cycle, which is ok I guess but I prefer not to power cycle them more than once every 30 days.

Are there products out there that will let me do a 30 day cycle instead of 7?

    Thanks.

You should be able to write a simple reboot script or batch file, and then invoke it every 30 days using Task Manager.
Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

Those are small electronics like the AT&T microcell device I use to route my cell phone calls through the internet due to poor cell reception from the towers. There's no way for me to run any kind of script on it.

Ironically, computers on my home network that can run scripts are those that do not need to be rebooted on a regular basis.

That one can be attached to the network using wifi or hardwired CAT-5/6

You can use SSH scripts to control the outlets individually on that device, which means you can run them from task manager on your PC to reboot anything plugged in.

Or you can just use the mFi software (free, runs on Windows and others) to control it and set power schedules using rules.

There are others like that. You want an IP attached power strip / PDU. You could also check ebay for used models, from APC or Emerson etc. Some of them may be very large though (rack sized).

I would look for models that have simple telnet or shell interfaces in addition to fancy software control. Because shell interfaces never go out of style or become unusable when manufacturers stop supporting their fancy software.

Nice! This is what I've been looking for, I didn't know there's something like this available and had been looking at those timer things with a AC outlet.

          Thanks.
