    Microsoft Groove Music Sucks...

    WTF Microsoft?

Am trying to rip CD's to MP3 on my new Dell laptop running Windows 10 so I can load up a 4GB Sansa Fuze music player for my Brother who has Terminal Cancer. It seems Microsoft has removed/disabled Drag & Drop functionality on both Groove Music and Windows Media Player, unless I'm missing something.

If this is the case, what replacement Media Player alternatives are there that support D & D? Also, I'm using FRE:AC as a CD Ripper/Converter and ripping as LAME with Variable Bit Rate. Is FRE:AC a decent, free, easy to use ripper or should I use something else?

I think I've figured out a workaround. I just created a folder titled Music on my Desktop and am saving the albums into individual folders in there as I rip them, bypassing Groove and WMP.

Yep, best solution is to copy files manually. Your MP3 player should just show up as a regular storage device, you can use Windows Explorer to access it.

I hope everything is working well for you but let me know if you want help.
