75" T.V. Which one?

Wife would like one. Which one and where (cheapest) is the best place? The fella at Costco said get a 75" LG, but they don't sell one. Best Buy said Sony.

Look closely at the Vizio line. Not sure about 75", but I moved to Vizio after my expen$ive Samsung plasma went out after only four years and now have four of the UHD displays. I'm very happy with the quality and function.

I went with Sony and love it. Not the cheapest around, but I'm impressed with the quality, especially when you're watching something in Ultra 4k.

I think it'll ultimately come down to your budget and doing some side-by-side comparisons in store. Good luck!

Sony has some nice tvs out there right now,im still drooling over the oled 65 i looked at a few days back.beatbuy told me samsung vizio and a few other brands dont last as long.but lg is a solid choice too.i have a 10 year old plasma of theirs,its phenomenal,aside of weighing damn near 100 pound for a 50 inch tv,which gets heavy when u move or put it on a wall

Get a Sony from Best Buy or Frys. Frys frequently have deals where they pay the sales tax on them. After you buy the Sony from one of those two places buy the Square Trade warranty from Costco (its cheap).

Cant go wrong with this one.

I would go with an OLED if I had the cash. Hands down the best picture out there.

Ive got a 4K vizio from Costco (although not a 75" one ). It's a great TV with a really nice picture.

And +1 on the extended warranty, I rarely buy them but with my TV being on basically whenever I'm home I felt it was worth it.

Best Buy is known to not know much in terms of the best TVs out there. I never shop there.

OP...Go with Sony, Sharp or Samsung. I have all of the above in 65+ inch applications and they are all equal in terms of quality and life.

the vizio line of tvs' are great. they have a super tech support and great warranty. i thought i was having a issue with my vizio. they came out and replaced the main board .....totally free. still had the same problem. they sent out a new vizio. turns out, the problem was with my att provider box. they staff was excellent.

whats your budget?

for 75", sony gets lackluster reviews. the top one is the one i have which is the 75" samsumg. the lg is next on the ranking scale. vizio 75 isnt isnt even on the recommended scale. the 65 inch tvs are, but not the 70+.

LG's oled 77" TV (i dont think they make a 75) is around $14k. he was shopping at costco for TVs, not magnolia.

This is just my take, but I'd buy a Sony if I get one for the living room just based on my TV's I've owned and replaced. The only one still running and looking good is an old 46" Sony 1080p in a bedroom (doesn't get used as much now, but it was on constantly for years)... Vizio's burn out left and right - sometimes the price is right, but be prepared to replace it in a few years.
