    Android Parental Control Recommendations?

    Hi all,

Was just wondering if any of you have any recommendations concerning parental control on an android phone. My girlfriend just bought a phone for her 10 year old son and had asked me to look into locking the device down. Upon research there appears to be a number of services out there but I'm having a hard time trying to determine what might be the best route.

Right now I'm leaning towards "Net Nanny for Android". It appears to have really good professional reviews... but it's slammed with negative reviews in the google play store.

    Any recommendations? Lessons learned?

Here's the device (if it matters):

We are going to go with Ting (http://ting.com) so we can monitor and control the phone's minutes/sms/data usage. I.E. he does well on a test or completes a task, we can up his data usage for that month. He he does something bad, we can take stuff away.

Well... you guys are no help! (LOL)

After some research apparently google has released an app called "family link" and that's what I'm going to go with.

If it's a smart phone, go with Custodio. I use it on all our phones and computers. Works awesome, I have been using it for a few years.
