    Black box

Lately, when I click on a posting on this forum that has a imbedded video clip, I just see a big black square box. If I click on this box, nothing happens. Since this just started about 10 days ago, and I don't remember changing anything, I'm stumped. I'm not a computer expert by any means, so I take extra care to not change anything. If I right click on the box, it says video not loading. There are also 2 references to Adobe reader. I've checked, and it says that I have the most current version.
I have a older hp desktop running windows 7 and Norton 360 anti virus.
    Any help is appreciated.

That same thing happens to me periodically....

Sometimes it happens on the phone too...

I post the video link as a result and the embed

The fix normally happens automatically in a few days....

All the fixes I have tried have not worked... search the tech sub fork and you will find the old threes and what worked for people to fix the issue
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

I was told, and found it to be true, that it happens if you use HTTPS to access the forum. Plain HTTP lets YouTube work.

Yes, and with http (rather than https) everything you read or type then send is sent plain text... I'd rather be that monkey wrench in the NSA's cogs.
