    ARMv8 assembly?

Any of you know it? Have a ridiculous professor this semester for CS 147. Comp Architecture. Gave us a quiz yesterday, assigned a fibonacci program in ARMv8, due tomorrow, AND our midterm is tomorrow.

Gonna be a lot of late nights this semester

I'm using https://gcc.godbolt.org/# to translate from C, just not sure on veracity of it.

Also, ARM != ARMv8. Very different to my noobish eyes.

So looks like combined with the link above, per https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/AArch64-Options.html if I add in -march=armv8-a it translates perfectly. I think. We'll see when I get this one back graded heh.

I'm taking computer architecture this quarter too, but we spend more time working on building things in Logisim rather than writing up code for modern architecture.

My final is due in two weeks and it's to build a cache from scratch in Logisim, I feel your pain brother
