Ive been deabting on a shield pro for a hot minute now.the newest version will do everything in 4k,and once unlocked its like the netflix of games.of course at a price of 300,then to unlock it im sure itll be 4 of those t8's

Friends who run Kodi on firesticks had 2 or 3 fail within 6 months

I see millions of refurbished chromecast on Groupon.....


The little devices are subsidized so they are artificially cheap to help build the brand.... but they seem to lack durability especially when adding other software to them.....


Long way of saying a $150-$200 box might be cheaper than an $80 box that does not last.....

SKYSTREAM ONE- Android--- playing with it still...
2-Chromecast ultra's for my main TV's to get DIRECTV NOW services.. Don't know if I like having to use my phone on these , but it works. I only use these units for ease of the direct tv now.
G-BOX Q2-Android-- works.... there are better boxes... I started with this had 3 at one time. Gave 2 to relatives' to get them interested.
just a personal view from someone who has to stream..

wanted to do a follow up on my droid T8 Mini.
just got it yesterday. it looks all spiffy.......except that it came from the UK, and it has no wall adapter. so today, i am trying to find a UK to US wall plug adapter in Sacramento.

i was speaking with a ...."techie"......at a radio shack, that said they have two adapters that will work. we will see......

just got it yesterday. it looks all spiffy.......except that it came from the UK, and it has no wall adapter. so today, i am trying to find a UK to US wall plug adapter in Sacramento.

I chattd on their site with support and they assured me that I would receive a US adapter. I also ordered one from ID that should arrive before the unit does. It looks like the never received my payment, so they canceled my order, per my request, and i will try to pay with Amazon payments, they said to use that instead.

picked up an adapter at radio shack.....lit the t8 up........pretty sweet ! this little monster is packed full of goodies ! glad i bought it !! definitely snappier than my fire tv .

Funny thing with Droidbox.co.uk is that they only see SOME CCs, even via Amazon Pay.

My discover wouldn't work, but after adding, yet another Visa that one showed up by default, weird.

Mine is REALLY on order now.

the86D.......just a heads up. the droid box has two versions of Kodi on it. on the Droid side, it has the new Krypton. when you boot into the ElecLibre side, it has the regular version. if you plan on adding to the Droid side , make sure you go into system settings and turn off all restrictions for loading outside,(not sponsored), apps. it will save you a bunch of headaches.

still learning, yes , always enable unknown sources. found that the droid side of the t8 mini has the krypton kodi AND the regular jarvis Droid/kodi loaded on the same side. when you boot to the libreElect side , it has the Jarvis version. love it !! i now have BoomShakalaka loaded on both sides of the jarvis kodi version. i is awesome. i am still trying to find user friendly instructions that follow the new krypton format. krypton can wait for the time being.

I had an Amazon Fire Stick that I ditched for a Google Nexus Player that i replaced with a ThorStream Premier - Android XBMC KODI Quad Core. I love it and it updates itself over the air. Also comes with ChannelUp subscription to watch LiveTV.
