    No Linux for Galaxy Tablets?

I would like to get rid of the google spyware and load Linux touch and to my surprise it doesnt exist.

If you search all you get is very old 2011, 2013 posts where people wanted it or tried it. Nothing new.....

I would have thought that Linux would be all over the tablet and portable market. Maybe it changes too fast.......??

The way I understand it there not compatible with the processors built into most Android tablets and smartphones. I could be totally wrong.

Constantly changing market with companies going out of their way to lock out bootloaders. Some models do have customized versions of android available(you'd have to go digging), but the reality is that a lot of power users simply aren't bothering with them due to the plethora of limitations(a surface 4 would be a better option for serious use these days) that tablets have always had.
