    Samsung E-Mail App Issues

I have a Samsung Note 4. Since about 2 months ago the default e-mail app no longer works with my Hotmail account. I called Android and Outlook and they weren't able to help me. I have to go on my internet browser to check my e-mail as the app is no longer working.

When I input my e-mail and password on the app, it just keeps trying to load and it never actually takes me to my account.

This is the only real issue I have had so far with this phone and I've had it for a almost 2 years now.

Has anyone else had this issue? Were you able to fix it?

Are you using IMAP? If so, clear the app saved data in settings and try setting your account again.

Otherwise try K9 mail, it's pretty good, or use microsofts outlook app.

I didn't think of that. Thanks a lot, I downloaded the outlook app.

I was never able to fix the default android email app. I have been using Outlook for a few months now and it's great. My only complaint is that no number appears on the icon to let you know how many new emails you have. Outside of that everything is good.

I like gmail (free), K9 Mail (free) and Boxer (paid). I've used Outlook for Android but half of the builds have seriously sucked and the rest were no better than those I listed.

BlueMail here on my S6, works great managing multiple accounts.
