Arlo 1080p security cam question

Question on the Arlo 1080 security cam.

Does it record to the cloud immediately? My concern is if someone breaks in they can just steal the cam or memory. Can soneone shed light on how these work?

Pretty sure it does. When recording begins it shows up in the library on all my devises loaded with the app immediately. Unless I delete them they auto delete in 7 days with the free cloud storage plan.

This is what it does. Almost immediately (2-3 seconds) sends an alert and is recorded to the cloud.
