What's up guys/gals, Tmobile just announced the Plus one program, unlimited

They make that work by throttling users after you reach 21G of usage in a month after which the throttled connection isn't fast enough for streaming video.

Anyone have any good leads on what a good Tmobile current hotspot would be to buy? Give me any insight.

Forget it except when you're traveling for a few days which isn't enough to throttle your connection. Use your smart phone in that case (although some providers disable their phone's hotspot option).

My lady and I are doing this because we rarely watch TV anymore, I have Firestick and Kodi

My wife and I stream 250G a month via Roku boxes and a Kindle Fire which is about 10X where throttling would kick in on a cellular setup.

To the OP, you may want to consider investing in a grandfathered unlimited data AT&T SIM card. These were from when AT&T offered them to original iPad users. You can pop them into a wireless router that accepts a SIM card, and you're good to go for $29.99/month with no throttling.

Caveat is that finding a legit one that isn't cloned isn't easy. Expect to pay a 4-figure sum for a clean one. But the ROI is pretty compelling.

Using a mobile hotspot will save some money. But the efficiency of the tethering will depend on your mobile device and the bandwidth provided by ISP.
The most mobile device can handle only devices at a time. If you are in an urban area with a lot of other wifi devices in the proximity, you may face interference and signal loss.

I have an unlimited plan, its available now to everyone. Its a current plan. Its 8meg up/down and its not capped for speed at x megs or gigs. Its a hotspot and allows unlimted tethering.

Price is 68/month. For 125/month I can up speed to 25megs/up/down.

Its a non published plan and its not advertised. You have to know who to call and what to ask for. There is NO contract and you can use your hotspot if its unlocked. It requires a 5 band device to work everywhere.

I am in the middle of nowhere and after 7pm my speed jumps to 12-15 megs up/down. My device is a falcon zte and I think 912 or 914 (it doesnt list the number on top).

Im not going to f it up so I am not publishing it. They do not seem to care who uses it and it is guaranteed for 2 years minimum.

Its freaking awesome.........
