    Apple TV Mirroring Issues

I've got a Gen 3 Apple TV and lately it takes multiple tries to connect to mirroring. It's also dropping mirroring frequently which is a pain. Any suggestions?

I assume you are trying to mirror from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac to your Apple TV? If so, be sure the originating device and the Apple TV are on the same WiFi network. We have multiple networks at home and when the two are different, streaming is choppy, disconnects, or just won't work.

If my suggestions don't work, your problem is likely Trump lashing out at your anti-American online rhetoric by personally disabling your home electronics. Really, you asked for it!

Sometimes interference will cause these issues. Everything from another network on the same channel nearby or even a microwave transmission.

To check for local networks that may be causing interefernce download the free app called iStumbler. It's handy for seeing what is around that may be interferring.
