    Upgrade to MacOS 'Sierra'?

Any mac users upgrade to Sierra yet?
    - Any trouble?
    - Does all your software still work?
    - Is Sierra any better?
    - Was it worth it?

    1. Yes, on release day.

    2. Installing? No.

    3. I had to modify some settings in my ~/.ssh/ssh_config file relating to Kerberos tickets and ssh. We use MIT kerberos in our work environment and GSSAPI related flags needed to be changed between 10.11 and 10.12.

The bundled openssh also deprecates some encryption and key exchange algorithms, so I have to remember to add oKexAlgorithms=<algorithm> for some specific black box appliances I need to ssh to.

All my applications seem to function fine. Office to Adobe Creative Cloud to my dev stack (vagrant, vbox, git, etc).

    4. It's not any worse in my opinion.

    5. It's a free download, so yes.

Seems fine, no problems with the exception of some older bits of software coming up as "not compatible" but there were very old and were mainly utility type programs I don't even use anymore.

The only thing I have heard is that if you are running an older mac (5+ years) you may want to skip it as it may slow things down.

I have a new mac and an old mac and I have not updated either yet, though I will probably get around to doing the new one and skipping the old one. Or I may do the old one anyway just to see what happens.
