Problem is, many of these devices are no longer supported by the manufacturer with updates (cameras, etc.) so you can't update the firmware. My ISP provided router hasn't had an update since April 2015. Most of the attached devices have price points and margins so low they get no support (all the investment goes to new products).

its more than just wifi devices with no screen its anything that connect to the internet. if it can connect to the internet it can be hacked.
