    Camcorder for hunting.

I'm tech illiterate but I'm looking for a good camcorder to record my hunting ventures and make a youtube channel. High quality, robust, easy to use etc. Anyone with experience please chime in.

If I had to do it all over again I'd go to these guys. And get a good editing software pkg.......also get a go pro for different shots.

I use a Sony flash memory camcorder. Works very well and is pretty small. I couple it with a cheapy light weight tripod.

I have learned that you basicly need two people to turn out decent videos. One to be the shooter, and the other to run the camera.

I have tried to film my own hunts, but it never works out well.

I use Sony Vegas for my editing software. I can produce very basic videos....someone who was more program savvy and skills, could produce pretty quality vids.

What do you hear ???...... Nothing but the rain. Well grab your gun and bring in the cat.

I'll be hunting with a partner so filming will be a non issue, at least for the most part.

No matter what camera you use, you need decent audio which means external microphones and most likely lav mics and with audio recorders.
