    cloudbased notepad

I use notepad++ but for the life of me, can't make the dang thing save to my google drive and then open it up from home. I like notepad++ (using more recently because I have a tendancy not to save my windows notepad files and if it crashes, i lose tons of notes. but that's my fault.

i need something that just does plain text (like notepad/notepad++). i tried evernote but it's doesn't work on plain text easily. (for cut-n-paste reasons).

just need a feature like notepad if accidentally closed, it's save but on cloud too.

I also use Google Keep for notes that I can access from any of my devices.

i thought google keep doesn't do plain text. oddly no matter what formatting it does, it keeps it (except for emails, where it hyperlinks it). that's why i wanted plain text like notepad where it won't recognize emails and hyperlinks it. i wanted something literally like notepad++ or notepad functionality (really really plain).

guess i'll try to keep on playing with notepad++ to see if i can make it work with gogoel drive or dropbox.

              https://www.dropbox.com/paper comes to mind.

in notepad++ you can always have it store to x directory for backups, which i dump to dropbox as well.
