    Extract/Create Image from Google Doc/PDF/HTML

    What I have:

    Google Docs spreadsheet
(can output to pdf or html)

    What I want:

    jpg or similar image file

Don't have pdf software, tried to capture from html but file is local no go, don't want to screen cap.

Any suggestions? Without special software? If software required, any suggestion that's not crappy malware?

Whenever I have a PDF I want to create into an image, I just open the PDF in Acrobat and Export to Image which gives JPG and PNG options, or open the PDF in Photoshop to clean up before saving as an image file.

      No tengo acrobat.

ocabj, might you be willing to take a swipe at it if I email you file? It's for the forums and CA 2a, promise.

eta: I say try, because I don't know if what you suggest will work either. It's not an image inside a pdf. It would be a table saved as or printed as pdf. So IDK what's inside the pdf, an image or a text table.

Have you tried Microsoft's snipping tool to make a screen grab. It works good and is free. I think it is in the accessories folder or something like that.

I use eCopy PDF Pro Office by Nuance, it can do anything with PDFs. PM me the doc if you still need it done, and indicate what output format(s) you want. Tif or multipage Tiff is another popular output format from PDF..

Snip tool is great. In this particular instance it doesn't work too well/at all. Because I'm trying to get an image for a spreadsheet/table, it is too long to fit on the screen without zooming too far out, then text is not visible. Thanks for the suggestion though.

My man! Bro hug. tiff will probably work, don't know what multipage is, I'll explain a little more in message and once you see it you'll get the drift.

            Thank you.

Will update with pics when done. To show wth I'm talking about.

OK, first two are the problem. Third pic is after skyhawk pulled a jpg and I cropped/resized it.

Thanks skyhawk (and ferrum who pm'd me)! Plan to show this in Bills Index in CA 2A sub-forum, if I can get librarian to unlock it for me. Not a great big deal but I think it might help visualize things for some of us. Mini-mission accomplished.

              1) Cuts off the table 2) Too small to read 3) Juuuuuuuuust right.
