No utube vids on CalGuns after update

Microsoft did a windows 10 update on my computer last night.

Today I can't see any embedded utube vids posted by others on CG.
All I see is a black box.

I did a test to post my own embedded vid and all I see is a black box.

Can any of you see the vid here?

I'm running Win 7 Pro and can't see anything but the black box either.

Windows 10 Anniversary update running FF and it works fine.

I just noticed the same problem on Win7 Pro w/latest version of Chrome. Embed video is fine on iPad, but only black box on laptop. I have not updated Win 7 in the past 60 days, so it is not a Windows update issue.


EDIT: also jacked on IE 11 Win 7 Pro without latest updates.

Something to do with flash support being deprecated from the two major browsers.

Forum code is probably going to need an update so these embeds use HTML5.

This video shows how to solve the issue of IE 11 not playing YouTube videos. Other flash or HTML5 content would work normally.
In this particular case, the audio was working just fine but the image as you can see is black. Other browsers work fine too.

In case you are reading this from IE instead of some other browser (or phone, tablet, etc) the solution in this case was like this:

- Go to Internet Options
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Tick on Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering"
