    Windows 7

I have Windows 7 on my computer and have been hounded relentlessly up until yesterday to upgrade. I chose not too.

    Until yesterday everything worked fine.

Today I cant get my computer to respond to any links on the mainpage and youtube videos wont play.

I'm not very computer literate, so I don't know if this is intentional by Microsoft or if its coincidental.

Your computer probably needs some work but I suggest that you just do a shut down and restart for now. That will reset everything.

Windows ten update removal can be done but you need to know how to get to your programs .

My most recent Kaspersky antivirus update created havoc especially with a invalid certificate. But it worked ok with Chrome.

It also worked again when I rolled back my update.

Are you running on Kaspersky antivirus?

Odd. My Avast antivirus died Friday night after an Avast update (Win7). I couldn't scan, update or log on to the account. Went to Control Panel and under "uninstall" Avast there was a repair option. Took about 10 minutes. That did the trick and it works fine now.

My Computer continues to run Window 7 as it did prior to July 29. What I do notice is when I re-start, I get a notification that I have WIndows 7 updates pending (I always had update notifications turned OFF).

IMO, this tells me I made the right decision keeping WIn 7. If MS can change my notification update settings in Win 7, Lord knows what they extrapolate out of a PC with Win 10.

Still running my windows 7 that I got from piratebay years ago. It probably does have something to do with your antivirus. I just use avast free version and have never had any problems. If you have legit windows, you can download windows defender and that should be more than enough.
