Win10 Issues- Wdf01000.sys and Multiple IRP Repeat Requests

Hello All,

Anyone had issues with USB peripherals and Win10?

I am getting two errors akin to BSOD's with Win10 after upgrading from Win7:

Wdf01000.sys and Multiple IRP Repeat Requests.

I think this may be due to some older USB peripherals that I have - but wondered if any here have seen this and what did you do?

I am removing the old drivers and updating what I can. In one case I had to downgrade the driver since the peripheral (USB-to-serial) didn't work under Win10 but I ended up replacing that one anyway since I am suspecting the older driver isn't 100% compatible with Win10 - plus the computer craters when using the peripheral.

I am trying to make sure all peripherals are compliant with FTDI and the latest available drivers.

Well, looks like removing the old USB driver and making sure all of the other drivers were OK did the trick.

Reading some of the M$ error reports - the Multiple IRP Repeat Requests error is a particularly nasty one since the driver that triggers the error wipes out the trace of the driver that is actually the problem.
