What is Up with Yahoo Mail?

Please don't bother with the flames about using Yahoo Mail. I have had my accounts for around 15 years and still use them every day.

Starting on Monday it has been a continuous problem to log on and cycle through the various actions on Yahoo Mail from my PC. I will go through 30 minutes of this and then it will run fine for a while only to bog down and stop running for another 30 minutes.

I know they are in the toilet and the whole company is on the sales block but is there something going on with their servers? Their is no difference between using Firefox or Explorer other than Explorer being slower, and I have no new browser features that might interfere with Yahoo.

Oddly enough, my iPhone does not have the same problems although my android tablet does.

Good thing I still have my other email accounts that I can use to communicate.

I've noticed they are injecting video's to play in the "Trash" and "Spam" folders (what idiot thought of THAT!). I wonder if it's effecting the bandwith of the mail client.

I'd also suspect issues with their data centers due to layoffs and fearful employees.
