Recommend me a Samsung S7 edge case or skin

In a couple days I'll be getting in the mail the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. I'm not too into cell phones; my current phone is the Samsung Galaxy S3.

I work in a very dirty environment (fluids, oil, dust, etc) and I work out a lot and I also use my phone in steam rooms and saunas (wet environments) and sometimes even in the shower. There are so many cases and skins to choose from and I don't know which one would fit me best. All I have right now is a screen protector.

Is it big and bulky? FYI I prefer something I can slip easily into my pocket

Seems like a case would defeat the purpose of the Edge.

You picked the wrong phone. They do not make very protective cases for it, it would defeat the purpose of the phone. This is the only reason I got the regular s7.

I just saw on Android Central the Vena case on Amazon.A clear case that should work.

Why do you say that? Is it because the case might interfere with the curved edge part?

Phone cases are designed to protect the edges of the case.Most do this by covering the edges,which on most phones have no real display purpose.

The S7 Edge uses the edges as part of the display.

Your going to have to find a clear case, if you want the protection of a case.

My son and I picked up S7 Edges on T-Mobiles buy-one-get-one deal. Not bad considering they threw in 1 year of Netflix and a Oculus Gear VR with each phone. Here's the cases we picked:

This is a very minimalist case my son picked that provides corner protection but not much else. It doesn't cover the buttons:

I picked up this for when I throw the phone in my backpack. It has a slip-on hard cover. It's pretty good for $6:

Due to the display, cases tend to be much less cumbersome (and less protective) than traditional phones. I'm pretty impressed with the phone though I wish they had located the buttons on the back like my LG G3 did. After getting used to that it's hard to go back. Good luck!
