We've had one for about three weeks now. It works great. Some false motion alarms from trucks, but otherwise it has worked flawlessly. I have ours hardwired to the existing bell wire.

We have the ring doorbell and arlo pro 2 cams cant beat the 1080p for wireless devices. I love how when people come snooping around they always look directly into the cam hahah.

I got one as a Xmas gift and so far I like it. The battery drained pretty fast for me, installed Dec 28 and now it has 15% battery left. I get 1 to 2 motion a day

Battery dumps fast if you enable Live View.
It'll go 2-3 months easy without. I would usually recharge when it got to 50% because I could usually top it off over two or three evenings without having to leave it offline overnight.

I had mine for probably a year before I hardwired it and enabled Live View, right after I got a decent cable connection. My old DSL connection barely supported normal operation... delays in audio (like "Moonbounce"), stuttering video, etc...

Hardwiring mine was a pain. My condo only had the old apartment stype mechanical bell mounted to the door. The Ring fits the door nicely, but I had to get the power wire from the wall to the center of the door. Ended up using those plastic wire covers from Home Depot. It's a little ghetto, but it gets the job done.

DO keep an eye on your battery level though. I noticed a few weeks ago that mine would occasionally show on "battery" rather than "hardwired"
Last week, the battery kept fluctuating between 85% and 92%. I ended up replacing the power supply and it's shown "Hardwired" and 96% ever since.
The power supplies on Amazon all show mixed reviews, so it's impossible to find one that is solid. Most have at least one review indicating it only worked for a few weeks.

Well worth it. If it hasn't been mentioned yet, get it at Costco as you get a year of recording for free.

I have the ring pro hardwired, my doorbell was perpendicular to my door so I ordered the wedge kit that mounts it at an angle facing the approaching walkway and driveway. Resolution isnt terrible and it works pretty decently to talk to people, but the wifi connection has been an ongoing issue for over a year.

They sent me a ring chime pro wifi extender for free but I still have occasional issues. I have 18mbps internet and very little wifi use when the wife and i are away, the modem is about 30 feet from the wifi extender thats in the hallway 8 feet from the doorbell and I still get random times of poor connection.

The chime pro wifi extender isnt very powerful, but I do like the chime function of it, since its right inside my front door and plays barking dogs at full volume, it has fooled most of my friends, even home inspectors asked me to lock up the dogs.

heres a screenshot during day, night, and the motion zone I set

The sent me the chime for free when I ws having problems, and sent a replacement doorbell for free when it quit working, so the customer service leaves little complaint, but I'm not super happy with all the bugs it still has.

Half the time it will sense motion and start recording as someone walks around the corner, only to freeze up for a few seconds and resume as the person is walking back down the driveway. About 75% of the time the chime works and the dogs bark, but occasionally we get a movement notification but no dogs when they press the bell.

Theyve been taking care of issues and replacing parts for free, but if I had to spend money again I'm not sure I would use ring

I have had mine installed now for about 6mos, and overall I like it. As far as the motion sensing.....its a fine line between great and not so great. What I found to be great, was knowing the coming and going on my cul-de-sac. Hard to believe there are that many stupid people that will drive almost 1/4 mile just to turn around and go back the way they came. The not so great is the wind, moving the bushes is an alert, so with the lag time, a lot of activity is missed. Until I can finish hooking the rest of the cameras up, it serves its purpose and then some.

It works well. Even with a fast FIOS internet connection it lags sometimes. There also instances where you get an alert, but it takes so long to come up on your screen that whoever was there is already gone.

I have Ring Doorbell 2 at my parents house and 2 Ring cameras(stick up cam and Flood light cam) at my place on the same account. My experience is you need good wifi signal or you will get low quality/no video, late or no notifications, sound/video sync issues. Set up is real easy, so was install.

At my parents house, there is a huge wifi dead zone. I think I know what the issue is but Its not something I can change. Use of the Ring Chime Pro(wifi repeater) and a Asus router in repeater mode did not fix it. I had to add a 2nd access point and move it closer to the front door.

At my place I installed a outdoor access point. The main access point is at the front of the house and the cameras are at the garage in the back of the house.

With the Doorbell 2, it will get the person when they are halfway up the driveway or right on the door. It faces the street so sometimes it gets the cars as they drive by or people walking on the sidewalk.

Stick Up came is discontinued but you can still buy them. They are terrible at watching large areas with no lighting. It also has a narrow view angle. It would be better at watching a small area with some lighting. I originally had it watching the back yard but moved it inside the garage to watch the door.

The Flood light camera is a lot better at watching large areas but has some issues with dark areas. The siren is not very loud but motion dection seems to work very well. The LED flood lights are very bright.
