To answer your question : All laptop come with WIFI and Bluetooth. It's a personal reference for me, I like HP laptop. The more you pay the faster laptop you get.

Ditto on Chromebook, seems perfect for the type of work you'll be doing.

Toshiba CB35-B3340 13.3 Inch Chromebook would be a great option in that price, its design isn't that cool but features are great, check a few specs below:

                    4 GB DDR3L SDRAM
                    16 GB (SSD)
                    13-inch IPS Screen
                    Intel Celeron Processor N2840

Black Friday coming. I'll be looking to pick up an Acer R11 4/32 if I can find a decent deal. Refurbed factory store on E-bay had them for $205 this week.

I picked up a refurbished HP Elitebook 2540p, 160 gig HD, 4 gigs of RAM, Core i7, DVD, Windows 7 COA, 12.1" screen on Ebay for $160 shipped.

I also bought a 8440p with an i5 processor, 14 inch screen, and essentially the same specs for $190. Both are rock solid. I use them everyday to teach a middle school robotics class.

The district laptops are HP Probooks with i3 processors. Not as robust as the Elitebooks. The 8440 keyboard is easier for me to type on. I also like the bigger screen.

I just bought a HP about 2 weeks ago from Costco. I found their prices a lot better than Best Buy. But ya, payed a little more than $350. I looked what was available cheap and I thought I got better value paying a bit more. (i5 W/12 ram $500)

My last 3 computers were Acer. I would have bought another if I found a good deal but found the HP first. I'd wait for Black Friday if I were you. My last Acer was a BF deal, dirt cheap and lasted years.
