Use imgur.com for unlimited image storage! And easy image sharing on forums.

I used to use Photobucket and Firefox and the Photobucket extension for one click uploading of images you find you want to share on the internet. But PB has a limited storage capacity. And Chrome is alot faster. So I switched.

This might help you with old broken links on old posts. Switch to imgur.com which has unlimited hosting. And it's free.

I switched to Chrome (Firefox was getting to bloated and slow.) and signed up for imgur and now use this extension to right click and upload any image on the internet. With one click.

I'm sure they have a Firefox extension too. But once it's loaded. You just right click any image you find on the internet. And select uploading it to imgur. Then just open imgur and copy the BBB string. It's for posting to forums. (Photobucket has a similar extension but only for Firefox that is a little slicker. But PB is not unlimited hosting. So things fall off after time. AFter you use up your storage limit.)

One other little trick to make imgur much more usable. When you post the forum links the images come up HUGE or not at all. To do away with that put a small "L" at the end of the image name. Just before the ".jpg". It will give you a nice medium sized image for posting to the forums. I'm really digging imgur. And the unlimited space is a godsend. No more broken image links in old posts.

    Here's an example:

    Original string:

http://i.imgur.com/NRlKawE.jpg except it has an [/img] in front and back.

    Add the L:

http://i.imgur.com/NRlKawEl.jpg (I left off the /img so you can see it.)

    And you get this:

Otherwise it looks like a big F-ing mess! And won't even work on this forum. Like below:
