The first kickstarter I have tried was called Blink home camera system. I had a desire to know when certain people came and went and didn't want a log in system. $189 for three cameras, all wifi, only cable is a USB to electric outlet for one base and all cameras are battery operated, small and easy to place. I installed it all faster then Seattle was blown out in the first half. Works great with the iPhone and iPad. I was going to return for a full refund the second I had a hiccup but I haven't.

How long have you had it? How long did it take to get it? Does it work during a power outage?

What size batteries does it take?

Each camera uses two AA batteries and they included them, but I also have rechargeable. They claim to be useable for a year with the motion sensor use. I may use them faster but changing them is easy.

IDK and doubt the system will work without power, and they need an outdoor option I haven't seen yet. It's just indoor. They are so small though and have great indoor room range.

Programming to me needs was a snap. I didn't even have to read instructions it was so easy.

I ordered last summer with the kickstarter campaign and just got it. No idea how long an order would take right now.

Interesting. So it works through a wifi link and stores to the "cloud"?

It stores on the camera too. This according to its literature. It is super easy to text or email a clip (video) to yourself or another. I shouldn't say on the camera but possibly the hub that comes with each set up. I bought the 3 camera / hub unit for 189.

At night it tosses a pretty bright LED light out so you can see a dark room. Of course anyone else would see it too. They decided to put an indicator light on it to tell anyone who can see it they are being recorded. I don't care about that. I'm not spying. I like the motion sensor app so it's like an alarm to me.

Well not sure if it's related but my Netflix isn't working at all now.....
