    DirectTv Genie wireless extender?

Just put a TV in my shop and moved a genie out there for DirectTv service. The signal is weak so it continually freezes/loses connection.
Does anyone know of a way to boost the signal from the video bridge?

I have an Apple Airport Express but when I try to set it up as an extender (was using it to extend my home internet) it would not work with the DirectTv video bridge, are you sure the one you posted will work with the DTV bridge?

You can either run 2 video bridges, mounting the second one closer to your shop area, or move the first one closer to your shop. Either way, a cable connection from the dish to the bridge will have to be made.

So the Bridge is tied into the dish, not the reciever? The dish is on that side of the house and there is a second place for a connection (we used to have two wires coming into the house prior to the last upgrade). I see them on eBay for around $50.

The bridge needs a cable connection to the dish. A cable connection to a receiver is always the best way to go. The wireless receivers are only good for about 50-60ft barring any obstacles such as walls, ceilings, etc.. The bridge is technically attached to the receiver because the signals pass through the cable which is attached to the receivers as well as the bridges. Hope that helps.
