iPhone users - notification for messages / IM

no matter what I do, i can't make it show up in lock screen. i already went to settings -> notifications - messages

i allowed notifications, show in lock screen and selected alert style of alerts

but no matter what i can't seem to still see it.

anyone here able to see configure it correctly? it's a biz phone and well, my vp pings me on text. difficult to see it as fast w/o unlocking first and seeing the warning on screen.

My iphone shows messages on the lock screen. Not sure what I'm doing differently... maybe try turning the phone off and on?

Might also try logging off and relogging into icloud.

Why is it all the funny stuff happens to comedians?

yeah.. did that (on/off). i don't use icloud really since all i watch out for is my VP's text messages to me. those I want/need to see quickly especially if on silent while i'm in meetings.

Is your phone in "Do Not Disturb" mode?
