Broadcasting and recording mac cam

I was wondering if there is a easy and reliable way to have my desktop mac continously record and broadcast online or atleast through an App to my phone?

Sorta like a nanny cam? Thanks

Just get a network camera. Or is there a particular reason you want to use the built in camera on the iMac?

There are a few apps for different purposes. For a full security cam setup using your Mac as the server, there's Security Spy. For simple "monitoring", Evocam and quite a few others.
