Recommendations for a Micro SD Card Reader?

Just bought a 64GB Samsung Micro SDXC UHS-1 Card for a new Smartphone I intend to pick up on Black Friday. Just went to format the card using the SD Formatter Tool and my old Kingston card reader and it's only showing the card size as 27.6GB.

From what I found doing a Google search, some card readers or host devices are not compatible with the larger SDHC and SDXC cards. Looking for recommendations on purchasing a decent Reader that is known to be compatible with the larger SDHC and SDXC cards.

    Thanks

any newer one should be up to current standards

or you should be able to just insert it into the phone and it will be able to format it in the format it requires

I just bought a dash cam and it came with a nice card reader that plugs into a usb. It's called all in one memory card reader. The only downside is it's 2.0

Check out IOGEAR GFR209, less than $7 shipped with Prime. I use one and it works great.

Thanks - a friend who has the same phone I'm looking to get confirmed I should be able to just put it in and use it without formatting it.
