After getting the SECOND (unique) sales email from MidwayUSA in less than four hours, plus daily emails from Freedom Munitions with pretty much repeat content, I'm kinda sick of their crappy marketing. Midway doesn't even include the basic UNSUBSCRIBE link in their emails!
By email, I requested to MidwayUSA that they reduce their email blasts to once a week (and make them actually worthwhile). They emailed back by unsubscribing me entirely. Fine, be that way. Not like I can't find those offerings elsewhere. At Freedom Munitions, I got to leave a polite voicemail so no idea yet how they'll respond.
Simply, too many emails make the recipient numb to even the worthwhile promotions. I know because this is a part of what I do for clients, sending email blasts to verified subscriber lists with sales promotions.
