    iOS9

Has anyone upgraded their iPad yet? I just did and have a bunch of animated sponsor ads. It's annoying.

No ads yet but it just reorganized how I get to see Calguns and then went back to regular format and I didn't touch any buttons to change anything.

Edit: Did the same thing this morning, dang it.

    Siri is taking over!

I just got that pop-up window for the IOS update to 9. Not touching it until I see more feed back. I use my iPad Mini 2 as the dedicated FPV monitor for my Phantom 3. Everything works fine now. Don't want to mess with it if it ain't broke.

I haven't updated the new Phantom firmware because I'm still learning about the current version. After I fully understand this version, then I'll upgrade.

I upgraded my iPad 2 - have not noticed any weird ads or anything. But I do notice that Safari still crashes on javascript heavy websites. Every CBS local website in the country will crash safari 90% of the time and if you click more than 3 links, the crash rate goes to 100%. I completely erase my iPad and just have a barebones install, and still only one tab in Safari open will choke on a CBS local website. It has been that way since IOS 8.

So the iPad 2 is nearly useless to me now. That is the major reason I am upgrading to iPad Pro. Congratulations Apple, your planned obsolescence is working...

I haven't upgraded yet, I really want to so I can use the split screen. I have heard good things about IOS9 from people in my class but I don't want to mess up my ipad. I love split screen (multitasking on my PC and on my Note 4. so I'm glad apple is finally pulling their heads out of their asses. I kind of want to wait awhile to see what happens.

Yup, dated my iPhone and started getting some strange font styles. Will wait a while to update the iPads

Under a specific set of circumstances invoking Siri from an iPhone or iPad's lock screen grants limited system access.
                  So, disable Siri.

Until it will search my phone - 'Siri, show me the latest pictures of my grandkids' - I find it worthless. (A grandparent with a smartphone and a photo app is a very dangerous person... )

I have on my phone and it's freaking me out a little...

I leave the house in the morning and I get an alert. "34 minutes to work" I leave work and it tells me how long to get home. On Tuesday and Thursday I get the ETA for travel to the gym.

How does it know where I'm going? - Apple is evil I tell you.

My iPad air2 is running fine on ios 9. I'm still getting used to some of the interface changes. I haven't had popup add problems with it.

Did 9 when it came out on my Air 2. Did 9.0.1 this morning. Have not had problems mentioned here. Never really had a pop-up problem.

The tech guy on KTLA talked about the content blocker capabilities. He recommended Peace. I downloaded it. Can't identify benefits yet but it does not seem to cause problems.

You probably can't tell her to find the latest pictures of your grandkids, but you can tell her "siri, show me my pictures from last weekend in Monterey."

Because it knows that you've done the same thing every day for the past however long, and it's making a pretty educated guess?
