Post reviews after playing. For some reason I get the vibe that this will get old fast since it is small map and one type of gameplay

I played it at PAX Prime. Had fun with it - there's some interesting things that change the gameplay around. The demo map is NOT going to be the only map in the beta from what I understand.

Some of the things that I thought were cool were the ability to destroy portions of a wall and create a "murder hole" to shoot through - either to defend a room or assault one. Multiple angles of attack for everything, lots of teamwork and coordination, fast paced gameplay. Size of the map doesn't bother me - I'm not one of those OFP/ARMA3 guys who needs a map where I can run for 2 hours in one direction. Keeping it small means keeping the action moving.

I'm not 100% sure on the types of gameplay that will be available - the demo at PAX was "defuse bombs". There were several different loadouts available, with weapons and such different enough to give a different feel of gameplay for each choice (as opposed to the kits not really having an effect on gameplay).

i probably should have elaborated when i said small map and one type of gameplay.

while yes, map size is a concern to me, i also don't want arma3 level battlefield sizing. i would say that some of the rainbow six vegas maps are ok. just something bigger than a "mansion". now that can change, since from trailers and betas, they only show a limited amount of assets.

as to gameplay type what i mean was that it is all effectively Attack/defend.
the bad guys have to defend something inside, be it hostages, bombs, etc. and the good guys have to "attack" to either retrieve or disarm.

while this pretty much follows the gameplay of most if not all multi-player shooters since the beginning of time, i am at a point where i just can't stand to play it for more than a hour at a time since it is just boring now.

i do hope that sales of this game will be good as I am very interested in their other works, The Division and Rainbow Six Wildlands.

I have played the game since its inception from the Rainbow six to all its map packs and would be interested in a Beta key. I still play Raven Shield online sometimes.
