Amazon Echo

Does any have the Amazon Echo device? Seems like a really cool product. Wanted to know what you think if you own one.

I have one. Its cool as a novelty... but it does wear off (at least for me).

I mostly just use it to play music and set timers for when I'm cooking. I am REALLY interested to see what kinds of apps and functionalities will develop now that they have released the SDKs.

All in all, I wouldn't have bought it at full price. I got it for $100 when it was invitation only.

Thanks. For $100 I wouldn't think twice, but at $179 not too thrilled.
