It's okay, really depends on what you are looking for. The monitoring system is fine and they can either take over your existing wired system or install wireless. The package they offer on Lnv is only for one motion and two door/ window sensors. If you want to get more it is better to buy them during

Now the home devices depend on what you want. The thermostat is great and is up there with the ones you can buy from Nest at home Depo. The cameras kinda suck they just starting offering 24 hour play back and that is an added cost. If not you can only view in real time. Also they still need power to be run to them so you will see a line being ran to them. The light switch also doesn't operate exterior lights like in comerical. It's a plug you get and you plug a lamp into it. This is better achieved with a timer and only costs ten bucks.

The door locks is a new feature but you have to install yourself, and the twc tech will just pair to the system. I really don't like it for the fact if so,some has your phone and you have the remember password feature on it.

I have had the system since 2009 with little issue and have not had a false alarm or any other types of problems. I would say it is on par with ADT or even AT&T digital life. Just be sure to get what you want in writing because sales men will tell you whatever to get the sale and leave it on the technician to figure it out.
