waiting for cache

This is happening all the time when I open Chrome. Have done the clear cache, browsing history etc.

Windows 7.

Any solutions?

Is you hard disk light on all the time? or other applications freezing as well? Or is chrome the only program you're having issues with?

Chrome. Looks like the update to Windows 10 took care of it.
