    google chrome is acting strange

ok, google chrome is acting strange. some websites refuse to load and one computer, looking at inspect element i see the problem is coming from something called google.analytics. today while i tried to log into my banks website i get an error saying my browser is not accepting cookies, but i checked the settings and it says it is allowing cookies. i am thinking about swapping to firefox now. is anyone else experiencing slowdown or errors with chrome?

Sometimes Chrome turds on Bank Of America's site for me. Just hit the refresh button and try again and it works fine. Also happens on Comcast email log on.

I tried Chrome when Firefox had about a 1+ year streak of bad versions.

Chrome is no longer used on any rig I frequent, but PaleMoon x64 is my goto browser now (based on a lean Firefox).

I have been using Firefox since EARLY betas.

I had to "log out" of chrome and log back in . . . that corrected my problems with web sites.

Chrome does a lot of things internally for speed, which can have adverse affect on experience, specifically pre-fetching and the browser cache. Lots of times, even refreshing the browser window will not load updated content. I'll have to clear all cached images and files and then reload the page.

Chrome didn't impress me, for the short time I tried it. I have used Firefox for the last 9 years or so, IIRC. I have it on my android tablet and phone as well and have my bookmarks synced. The adblock plus is great on Firefox and makes youtube usable, along with many other web sites.

You could always use Firefox as a backup, or just for your banking and see how it works out. Sometimes I will use IE if a page will not run on Firefox. With noscript and all the other addons I have, some sites just don't run well.
