    Replacement Batteries for Samsung S4

    Hi all,

My Samsung S4 is in need of some OEM or good aftermarket replacement batteries. I've heard horror stories of counterfeit ones from China exploding or not holding charge.

I found these on Newegg which claim to be OEM. Can anybody steer me in the right direction?

Could also go ZeroLemon from Amazon if you like having a larger battery.

+1 on zero lemon from amazon. I got their 7500mah and lasts two days without needing rechage. I use my phone extensively for work email and calls . I've had battery for 9mos. Still holding charges.

Amazon. Hyperion batteries. You can get an extended battery if you want, it worked great for my s4.

Be advised that if you get extended batteries and use a belt-clip, or pouch, some extended batteries make the device larger (with an extended door). I don't know about your phone, but some I have seen...

I think that the big issue is making sure that it's a recently manufactured battery as well-something you can't do online. Batteries are usually shipped with a partial charge and the cells start to fail after that first charge. A "new" battery that sat on the shelf for 2 years is probably just about as likely to hold a charge as your two year old workhorse battery.

                Good luck.

If you notice degraded battery performance both companies offer great warranties. One of my batteries swelled shortly after I got it, sent them a picture of it, 2 days later I had 2 new batteries to replace the one I bought
