how does this security camera system look

Good resolution. I would never use anything less than 1080. Ya gotta remember that often a perps face will only be a very tiny part of your recorded image and by the time you blow it up, the resulting effective resolution is not all that great. For most applications I'd consider 720 not enough

My 720P looks pretty darn good. Location is key for sure.

So a little update. Cameras are 100% wired. Quite a pain to feed em through the attic. And down the wall to the tv. We had to cut chunk of drywall out to be able to make a hole in the frame to fish wires through. (No big deal I cut the same patch I did when I cut a hole to do the cable TV few years ago)

On night #1 a camera died. q see was quick to send another with a return label for the dead one. Of course the camera that died was the highest mounted camera....

I had a couple members here pm me asking how the quality of picture is. Asking can you do face recognition, read license plates and whatnot.

Yes. I believe quality is good enough to pick out a face, especially during the day. At night it's a little tougher even up close.

No way can you read a license plate From the street, and from the angle I doubt even from the driveway.

Here are a couple screen shots from my phone. Resolution is only this good on phone when doing playback. Live feed is quite Terribe on phone, on the main monitor live feed is just as good as recorded.

I am tempted to upgrade.

Looks good! Just take your time running the cables. Along with an American flag and some alarm stickers on your windows people will mess with someone else's property.
