Anyone have any idea how to just disable the "Suspected Spam" folder? I mean, I want my junk mail filters to work - they send stuff to the Junk Mail folder - but this "Suspected Spam" thing is starting to really piss me off. Half of my invoices and order confirmations are getting sent there because they contain phrases like "do not reply" and such.

Home > Junk > Junk-E-Mail Options...
Options to control how junk mail is handled.
Or... under Home > Junk > Junk-E-Mail Options > Safe Senders
Add the email or domain in which you trust.
Enable check box for "Also Trust e-mail from my Contacts"
Enable check box for "Automatically add people I e-mail to the Safe Senders List"
I know you didn’t ask, but in case you didn’t know… You can also create rules and alerts… to manage inbound and outbound email routing and organization.
Home > Move > Rules > Manage Rules &Alerts.
For example, all my Newegg.com purchases/order confirmation/invoices are automatically routed into one folder…
All their e-mail ad and marketing into a different folder.Last edited by ExtremeX; 02-27-2015, 1:25 PM.ExtremeX -
Okay, no, that's not what I'm asking about, not even remotely. I know how to set up my junk mail filters and such. I've got about 60 rules set up for that crap already.
What I'm concerned about this the folder circled in red in the pitcure below. It's in my inbox, and it's pissing me off. I want it to go away. When I delete it, Outlook recreates it the next time I start the software.

Never seen that folder before, are you sure its Outlook native, or some 3rd part application like AV software which is creating it.
I've spent a lot of time with Outlook, mostly in a server Exchange environment, but that folder is new to me.ExtremeXComment

I suppose it could be from the AV software, but I wouldn't think so - I've had Outlook 2007 and 2010 installed on this workstation previously, and neither of them had this issue. It only started with the installation of 2013. I had the same AV software installed on the previous Office versions as well.NRA Life Member

I couldn't tell you... I just did a Migration from XP/Office 2007 to Win 7/Office 2013 for my own site.
Both still have an Exchange Server backend, and that folder isn't present.
What is the backend service to your outlook? How does it sync? POP, IMAP?
Any chance you have a BlackBerry syncing to that same mailbox?
I'm pretty sure that isn't Native to Outlook/Exchange, which is why I asked about some 3rd party security solutions... doesn't always have to be AV... could be some kinda malware/spam buster type software with a feature which has some type of spam engine integration with various e-mail clients.
Note the Junk E-Mail Folder in your picture.... That is native to Outlook, and is directly controlled using the Home > Junk > Junk-E-Mail Options menu I mentioned above.Last edited by ExtremeX; 02-27-2015, 5:41 PM.ExtremeXComment

It's going to an Exchange server, and the only Blackberries I deal with are jam in my PB&J at lunch time.
I know at least one other person has 2013, while most people still have 2007 or 2010. I'll check with him.NRA Life Member
