Recommend me quality discreet camera for home security

Title basically states it but to clarify it a bit.

I am looking for a network camera(POE preferred) Computer system not set in stone yet(secondary concern) Goal is to have a computer setup to record images with enough space for probably 1 month of available playback.

I need the camera to be indoor/outdoor capable.

I need the camera to not be a huge bulky setup. I don't want my house to look like a compound

My house has the networking infrastructure to support up to 16 cameras

I won't claim that budget is unlimited but I will pay more for quality(build/image) camera.

    So what do you recommend?

I purchased a Lorex Camera Kit (8 Cams) from Costco, I believe I paid $700.
I mounted the Cams around the sides of my house and one in the garage so I have a 360 Degree view of my property. . I downloaded an APP for my I-Phone and am able to view my cams from anywhere on my phone.. Way Cool !
My Recorder holds about a week of continuous recording, (Wish it was a month) Cameras are indoor/outdoor with Night Vision. Quality is pretty good.

If I were to purchase it all over again, I would Get better Cameras and a WIRELESS system.

Swann system from Costco. 8 1080p cameras NVR and the cameras are POE. Viewable from smart phone and any computer anywhere. 1,100-1,600 for the system.

Yeah Swann has good stuff. I would also look at cheap RC8021 cameras from ebay. Been playing with some I found in a trash can and ispy http://www.ispyconnect.com/ open source camera software. EDoes everything I need unless of course you want high-def. I also use dlink 932l cameras for a cabin in the mountains I have that work great and are cheap.
