That's rediculous, $35k for a 1911, you can get a JJFU Damascus 1911 for a hell of a lot less than that (whether you care for his guns or not, they are real damascus), and the mammoth tusk is actually not as rare as they make it sound, and knife maker supply house just about carries it.

I can still see maybe $10k, but certainly not $35k 😛

I would rather have real velociraptor claw grips but I can settle for wooly mammoth teeth.

Price aside, the metal is beautiful. Makes my Baer look like it came out of a junkyard.

Sammy, your Baer is a fine instrument, that you can shoot like there's no tomorrow, stop being so humble.

The gold barrel, bushing, trigger, etc lost me. Aside from those "bling bling" pieces, I think the gun is beautiful.

I too would rather have real velociraptor claw grips and instead of damascus, I would like it to be made out of unobtanium, then maybe I would but it.

I would rather have 10 Barrett M82s hanging from my wall.

Too busy. They didn't need to use every different finish under the sun.

I believe Jesse James is asking about the same for his 1911s. I picked one up at SHOT and got yelled at, so I went and "played" with a Dillion Minigun, which I think go for $1,000,000.
