    FSC problem

I went to Turners today and bought that stripped lower they had on sale for $59.
The guy asked me for my FSC.
    I said I don't have an FSC.
He says I need one to DROS the lower.
I told him I have an HSC and I am going to build an AR pistol.
Well that didn't fly, I tried.

Then I said OK I have a CCW.
No, he says, you still need an FSC.
I said No I don't, a CCW makes me exempt.
    He say no it doesn't.
He asks the manager and he says I need an FSC or a hunting license.
    I said I have a CCW.
    No, I need an FSC.

So I knew I was right. I paid for the lower and did not start the DROS.
Went home and looked it up on the DOJ website, sure enough, I was right.
Called him in the store, told him what the code was.
He puts me on hold for a moment comes back and says you are right, I am sorry.
Come on back in and we will start the DROS.

    G.D. it.

This guy is supposed to know what the new laws are. It is his job.
Here I am educating the gun dealer.
    Go figure.

You were wrong in the fact that you cannot construct an AR pistol from a stripped lower receiver in California. All stripped lowers are drosed as long guns In this state. Once a rifle always a rifle and building a pistol will run afoul of sbr laws.

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Sadly even if you call the DOJ about a CCW exemption, you may get multiple answers
Don't knock Turners to much, or any FFL. The DOJ has this program all screwed up...
