Anyone know a place to buy .303British ammo in bulk for a relativly cheap price? Like 500 rounds for $100 - $150, or even only 400 rounds

Unfortunately, I haven't seen it that cheap in a while. I had bought some 1943 dated UK stuff from Sportsman Guide not too long ago. It ran about 25-28 cents per round, but some were hangfires and duds. They may have some. I'd avoid anything that says POF, even if it is cheap. There are some deals out there, but they are here one second and gone the next. (I cleaned a store out in Glendale once...)

I still kick myself for not buying all of the blue box of 303 I found at a local shop for $8 bucks for 50 rounds.

Took it to the range and one the top of the box were the words printed "MATCH".

By the time I noticed I had used one box and was almost finished with my last box.

Went back to the shop and they sold all of it a few hours earlier.

yea... I saw some at a local shop for about $9.65 for 50 rounds, went back, the price was at $20.

Big 5 is a jip to....$29 for 20 =/
Guess I will have to keep my eyes open!

The cheapest you are likely to get right now would be either Sellier&Bellot from J&G Sales in Arizona or Wolf "Gold" from Sportsman's Guide, both at around $9 per box.

Sportsman' Guide only shows the soft point Wolf available right now. If you are a member (or know one) and use one of the coupons available online, you might be able to get it delivered for around $9 per box.

All of the surplus .303 British on the market right now is pretty bad. With the Wolf or S&B ammo you will be able to save the brass for when you start reloading for this caliber.

Also check out Outdoormarksman.com. They carry about seven or eight different brands of .303 including the above and the Prvi Partisan which is good quality, inexpensive ammo (good brass for reloading). Prvi is making all of the Wolf Gold line ammo, not the Russians. They are often out of stock on the less expensive brands but keep checking back as they restock frequently.

Ouch, thats a great deal even in the regular.... you sure it was 50 packs? corrosive?

303 is pretty hard to find in the surplus and when you do its corrosive.

Sportsmansguide.com has .303 corrosive 200rds for $33

The best you will find non-corrosive a sale is $7-$10 for 20rds and IF YOUR LUCKY $5 if its on sale.
