I would pay a good price for one of those 522 magazines...

Thats my 1993-vintage 522 Viper w/ red-dot on top and shortened/free floated 16.25" barrel. I opened up the stock from the receiver forward so there is a good 5/16" gap all around the barrel now, and the crown is re-cut after making it 16.25" long. The sights from the 522 got installed on my mossberg 500 shotgun!

I have ONE original magazine, which holds twelve rounds, and is made of aluminum. I would very much like to purchase another one or even 2. If you'd like to sell one or 2 please let me know.

P.S. If not, do you know where I COULD buy one?

Nice looking family you got there.

When I move to CA I plan to get familiar with a Garand, Enfield, Mauser, SKS, and Mosin Nagant, since those are legal there.

I don't have that many firearms by New Hampshire standards. I am kinda considered weird for owning so few guns.

Here is my current family that the state banned. These will have to temporarily go to Arizona until I move there (or Texas).

You can bring everything except the AR-15 and the AK-47 (but you could if they are "off list" brands by some lucky chance)

Also, if the FAL isn't a Springfield SAR-48 or a FN FAL you're good to go on it, just pin the mag and have a ball.

              Is that a actual FN 50.61, 50.63, or 50.64 ?

I have relations that would be very happy to adopt (fees included) some of your family.

No it is a DSA SA58 not an FN. It is by far my favorite weapon of all my weapons.

It is a DSA58. Thanks for the advice but I don't want to pin my mag well or change out my flash suppressor or get rid of my 20 and 30rd mags. I also don't want to register my handguns. So looks like I will just keep everything in Arizona for safe keeping. Looks like I will be making trips a lot to Arizona to shoot and fondle my guns

At least I can keep my shotgun as that will be good enough for me for home defense. I don't have to modify my shotgun in anyway, that is until one day the CA decides it wants ban flashlights

thats cool it reminds me of my 50.61/50.63 from a distance that is. My father bought a G series amnesty para when I was all of 3 and when I was 21 he gave that rifle to me as a xmas present. Those were the days. Its hard to upgrade when your first rifle is a belgian FN FAL know what I mean.

No doubt, FN FAL is the real deal, the original FAL. No upgrading from this weapon, only downgrading Mine is basically the same as a 50.63.

FN-FAL are based around 4 key varients.
50.00 - fixed stock, standard barrel
50.64 - side folding stock, standard barrel
50.41 - fixed stock, heavy barrel, bipod
50.63 - Para model. folding skeletal stock and shorter barrel

Well, the mags I can't help you with... The magazine lock is easy man... If I had a DSA like that I would just swap out the flash hider and bring it in... A lock takes all of 20mins to make and then you can go back and forth if you want to take it to Arizona...

Thats my mag-well lock... Takes one screw to put it in and out.

You can't import mags, but you could bring in some mag repair parts and sell them to people with legal hicaps to refurbish them. I have some legally owned metric FAL mags I'd like to have a spare body or 2 for.

Anyway good luck in your trip.

If you are moving in from out of state, you can in fact bring all the banned "assault weapons" you already own.

Look on the FAQ page of the CAL DOJ. There is legal provision for moving into state with banned weapons.

If you plan on being here a short predetermined period of time, I understand you not wanting to register them. If you are here for awhile, bring the "family" and let them enjoy California too.

No such provision for Magazines, so those should spend their time in Arizona.
