The jig I picked up from a fellow CalGuns member was slightly different from the 80% Arms jig but still worked out.

Just tonight I did an 80% in DuraCoat Matte Black. I did not sand blast it, other than the finish from the mfg. I gave it a blast with brake kleen and then a final wipe down with Duracoat Tru Strip. I am also using a Iwata Eclipse airbrush at 25psi with pure clean/dry air. I got a couple specks of dust in the finish. I was in a hurry and skimped on the final wipe. Its a tool, not a jewel.

Man, that came out pretty clean. Thanks for the list of tools used.

Just to clarify, I am running an Iwata Eclipse BCS with a .5mm nozzle, .35 is too fine for DuraCoat and a bottle gives you more paint.

Test fitted components and everything seems to fit and work pretty well. Threw my M&P stuff on the unfinished receiver and the only thing I need to tweak is the safety selector switch. It doesn't seem to have a crisp select, has some play on the fire selection, and is a little tight in some areas. Now it's time to decide on a coating.
