    Original Mosin Nagant Stock

I just put together a custom Mosin Nagant using an Archangel stock. It's 99% done...just needs a muzzle device.

My question is....is the original wood stock worth anything? Should I try and sell it or just dump it?

I'm sure someone will buy it if it's not trashed.
You should be able to get a few bucks out of it.

The stock is certainly worth money.

I do believe the new problem you now face is that gun may no longer follow the "10 imported parts or fewer" law per required by 922r. It has to be 100% curio or comply with 922r.
Anyway...here's a dearth of reasoning to ponder: http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Guns

Why not keep it in case you decide to go back to the original style? Or is it modded out to the point it's not going to be going to original configuration ever?

I can't use the original stock anymore. I chopped the barrel to 20".

Anybody want a free mosin stock?

922r only applies to semi-auto rifles. OP is GTG. But it can't be sold as a C&R gun anymore.

              You're kidding right?
922r applies to "semiautomatic rifle or any shotgun which is identical to any rifle or shotgun prohibited from importation under section 925(d)(3)"

To bad you aren't in NorCal, otherwise I'd gladly take a free mosin stock...

If you don't want it, hit me up!

I could always use a spare.
So I was driving home from the range and I noticed that the scent of warm steel, burnt gunpowder and lukewarm coffee combined and smelled oddly of... Peanut butter?! Man, the Hoppe's is going to my head.
