new firearm cleaning mat design feedback needed

Hey all, i'm designing a gun cleaning mat product and wanted to get your insight on which design you guys would prefer.

Just let me know if you guys prefer design A or B, also any other feedback would be appreciated!

I like A but if I'm cleaning a gun where small parts could be lost in the swirl pattern... I'd likely go B

only because I have no idea what A is supposed to be and tiny parts blend in.

A is a topographic map which is cool but the parts thing I can see being a issue for some. Is the matt for pistols or rifles? Maybe some design along those lines like a target silhouette or something.

Is B a lineup of bullets? Any particular rhyme or reason to the lineup?

they are just silhouettes of most of the pistol calibers.

this mat is for pistols.

I'm thinking of maybe doing B with a cross hair ? and also maybe a ruler along the top in inches, and the side in CM?

this was my first thought.
I do like A but way too much going on and things can blend on pretty easily.

so cool factor A but would buy B

Design B. I can't imagine it being easy to find small pins and screws if they fall out somewhere on mat A.

I'm not really sure what we are loking at? Would that be the entire mat? Why is it dark grey? What are the sizes? Material?

As far strictly pattern? B. Out of the millions of possible patterns and images in the world, a generic Topo map is not on my fav's list.

Incorporate some small magnets in it. To keep small parts. I did this on a homemeade RC mat for prevent things rolling off.
