    Show me your refinished handguns!

Looking to have my p226 refinished. Contemplating color combo's, controls, etc.

Considering titanium colored slide and controls with gloss-black frame.

    Show me what you've done!

    Thx!

        Wow. Luxurious!

P6 an alloy frame? I read about intricate refinishing requirements on sig alloy frames.

            226 you say?

Here's a hard chromed slide and controls, stainless grip screws, original frame finish, german gun circa 1990

            Very durable, no issues.

Here's another before and after from a long time ago:

Pretty much only do it when I need to, like if the gun is beat up or has a huge silly roll mark on the slide.

Sig typically has the slide of a CPO refinished prior to going out as a CPO, but not the alloy frame.

Yep, alloy frame but it didn't have to touch it. I got the gun for $250 and the only real wear was on the slide. It must have gone in and out of somebody's holster quite a bit, but the frame and all the internals were in great shape.
